Proximity to Public Transit:

Fairmont Royal York is located directly across the street from the main entrance of Union Station on Front St. The TTC Subway, Via Rail, UP Express and Go Transit system all make stops at Union Station.


Parking 2019:

There are a few options for parking in the area.

Valet Parking

  • Valet Parking is available at the east doors of the hotel, off Front Street. In-and-out privileges are included.Valet parking will be charged to your room account unless otherwise specified.

    • Daytime maximum (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or over two hours: $34

     * The $20.00 rate applies to those days/evenings when events are taking place at Air Canada Centre.

Where to Eat:

If you're interested in grabbing a drink or some food while you're in the neighbourhood, there are plenty of options.

  • Hotel Restaurants:
    Congress attendees, show your wristband & save 10% at Epic, Benihana, Library Bar & Pipers (breakfast excluded)

    • Epic Restaurant and Lounge (local, seasonable and sustainable fare): Located in hotel lobby. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    • Benihana Japanese Steak House (Teppanyaki): Located on the Avenues level, one level below the lobby. Open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday.

    • Library Bar (a variety of comfort foods as well as an afternoon tea on weekends): Located in the hotellobby. Open for lunch or dinner.

    • Piper's Gastropub (casual dining featuring an award winning “Local” burger): Located on the Avenues level, one level below the lobby. Open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday.

    • York's Cafe: (breakfast food): Located on the Avenues level, one level below the lobby. Open for breakfast.

    • York Station (intimate bar with finger foods): Located in Main Mezzanine. Open for lunch or early dinner Monday to Friday.
       

  • Accessible Via PATH (Toronto's Underground Walkway)
    PATH can be accessed through the Avenues level of the hotel. There are a variety of shops and eateries in the underground pathway. Not everything will be open on Saturday and Sunday. The Royal Bank Plaza is closest to the hotel and offers a variety of food/beverage options including:
